It’s been another gorgeous day here rounded off by 99s by the harbour.  Perfect.  I’ve just finished a rather fun papercut with apple trees and skylines in it.  It looks amazing back to front with the sun shining through….

It’s finally starting to feel like summer down here.  My outdoor plants really struggle with all the salt in the air, but these two are doing really well and I love their colours….

There’s the most beautiful boat parked up outside our sitting room.  It has lots of lovely fluttering flags and a perfect gorgeous reflection.  I think Stanley wants to stow away…

And finally for today – my reading chair.  Shame I haven’t got time today to sit in it and read.  I can’t wait for the summer holidays – it’s calling me!

I know we all love bunting, but I’ve had to make 100 metres of it this week and to be honest, I’m starting to go off it.  Here’s the first 50 metres….

I was very excited when I got home today to see a little package in the hall.  My new lino cutting kit has arrived.  Here’s my first attempt…..  You can tell which circles I did first, but I sort of got the hang of it.  Much much much more to come.

And lastly for today – a little scene which made me happy.  My husband’s saxophone having a rest on my unfinished blanket.  It sums up our life completely.

Sunday at River Cottage couldn’t have been more different. It rained so much that even the ducks ended up in the marquee. Still, I think we secretly like bad weather, everyone was very jolly and enjoyed battening down…

It’s been so long since I was up at 6am that I totally forgot about dew.  Whilst everbody stomped about the gorgeous River Cottage morning sunshine in wellies I went barefoot and left my shoes to dry in the sun.  Apart from that, what a  brilliant day.  Ferrets, ducks, piggies, chickens, doggies, puppies and hula hoops.

I can't believe I made all this stuff

I’ve just finished some fruity paper cuts and I can’t resist how all these colours look together.  Scrumptious…..
