Stanley and Bobo are especially enjoying the afternoon sun that fills our living room every afternoon.  They’re such happy things.  They especially enjoyed helping me untangle my wool.  The new papercuts are looking so pretty…..

Gala came to stay the night yesterday.  In her excitement, Charlotte forgot to pack her any spare clothes.  So I made Gala a lovely little sun dress to wear.  She chose the material, the ribbons and the buttons from my fabric stash.  I love it!  By 9am we were eating ice creams round the harbour….

As you can imagine, I like to do the opposite of what I’m told.  So here’s my new papercut entitled “Put all your eggs in one basket”….

Just for you Harry…..

It’ll be in the post tomorrow – I hope you love it!

At last. I've been working on this little blanket for ages as I keep getting distracted. I'm just using up old tapestry wools and I love the rich mix of colours.

I'm completely in love with the papercut I'm making at the moment. It's a commission for a first wedding anniversary but I want to keep it.

I was given this gorgeous bottle of elderflower cordial. I can't bear to drink it!

It always amazes me when gorgeous sweet smelling flowers emerge from the little brown seeds I planted in the spring.

I’ve just got back from the most stunning wedding weekend.  So unique and emotional and beautiful, and the weather was perfect.  I know they’ll live happily ever after.

There was swimming and camping, and glow worms and dragonflys, and tears and laughs, and love and happiness.  And it was in the most gorgeous setting just above Chesil Beach, only five miles from home.  I can’t believe I live here.  I love Dorset all over again.
