Wow….what a long time since my last blog!  Busy busy busy bees have been working away over here and there’s not been time to blog!  So here’s a quick round up of what’s been happening….

We’ve had two more features – one in Style at Home magazine, and one on the fabulous PrintPattern Blog – one of my all time favourite websites ever…

We’ve been on holiday ….

Do you remember these gorgeous papercuts I was working on a while ago…

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA   OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA   OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

…well, after a little bit of scanning, a little bit of colouring and a little bit of printing, they are now transformed into beautiful prints available from our shop and much more affordable than an original papercut at just £10 each…

So the new fabric arrived on friday, and after a busy beavering weekend, here are the new cushions!  Choose from square and subtle (well, fairly subtle) or oblong and out there.  Either way – a gorgeous addition to any home….

I’ve been working today on the most beautiful papercut – and it looks even more beautiful in the sunset light.  The shadows it throws are even prettier than the papercut itself…

The weather has been so glorious and the days have been so long and lazy this week that I’ve just got millions of photos to share with you.  I’m going to divide them into categories.  First up – the Flowers… (and a little bit of fungus)

I’m so sorry to have been ever so quiet on the blogging front recently, but to say I’ve been a busy bee is an understatement.  I’ve been sewing sewing sewing and more sewing and not had time for much else, but look at what I made!  I’m so pleased with these little things.  The little chap is called Jacques.  He’s part French Sailor, part Gondalier and part Matador.  He really is adorable, and a bit BIGGER than I intended – he’s about 2 feet tall and very cuddly and fun.  He has a hairy little chest, a flabby little tummy and gorgeous little espadrilles.

The little dress is reversible (I do love a reversible anything) and is pompoms ahoy!  It’s dingly and dangly and just so cute and perfect I wish it was my size.

And finally, the skirt.  I’ll take a better picture of it in context, but I just wanted to show you the flowery applique on the front.  I wanted it to be bold, folky and mid-century feeling.  I’m very very pleased with it…
