Cushions.  Cushions and cushions.  Cushions.  Cushions.  Cushions.  Cushions and more cushions.  I had a delivery of fabulous new fabric which I couldn’t wait to make into wonderful cushions.  So, it was all I did today, or should it be Sew, it was all I did today.  And when I’d made all 40 cushions, I folded and wrapped and packaged each cushion, each with a free gift tucked into them.  Don’t they look fab!

It’s been another lovely week here at CecilyMae HQ.  We’ve had sun, snow, hail, storms and rainbows.  There have been trips to the park, lots of sewing and a really exciting delivery of  fabric and prints which look amazing.  I was given the most perfect roll top sewing box to keep my crochet in.  I made myself something I’ve always wanted – a book nook.  A place to sit and read and think and be curious.  We moved the whole living room round to fit one it but it lasted about 5 days before we realised it was completely impractical and put the furniture all back again.  Still, Arthur enjoyed it while it lasted…

Cherry on Top Cushion – £40

Thanks to Bambino Goodies for featuring my new Fruity Cushions this evening!

I’m so delighted and excited to reveal my latest product range!  A series of cushions and cards designed and made by me inspired by fruity sayings.  The cushions are printed onto really lovely heavy weight linen/canvas mix which means they are really sturdy and hardwearing.  The 3D leaves are attached separately and securely making a really unusual and tactile feature.  Head over to my folksy shop to view the whole range…

I designed this fab cushion a while ago and I love it –  but I had lots of requests to make it available in different colour ways so here it is.  It’s now available in muted comfortable blue tones and fresh and zingy white with multicoloured details…
