Wow, what a busy time it’s been the last two weeks.  Firstly, it’s been glorious weather with amazing sunrises and gorgeous shadows and colours.

I’ve been super busy making customers’ orders for Christmas – cushions and papercuts mostly, but also packaging up cards, baubles, dolls and angels.

We had a super walk on the beach last sunday followed by hot chocolate and marshmallows by the harbour.  We finally got the tree up, although Stanley likes it more than the rest of us put together…

It was well worth getting up a bit earlier than usual this morning to find it frosty and crispy around the bay.  There was mist floating over the sea and some amazing reflections…

We’ve been able to spend lots of time up at our beach hut on Portland Bill in the last couple of weeks.  We’ve been trying to get some time in before Weymouth and Portland become toooooo hectic because of the Olympic Sailing being there all next week.  It’s been chaotic for months anyway with road works and things getting ready for it, but now it’s started, the whole area is gridlock.  So the husband and I went up early last week for three days and had a very relaxing time reading, snoozing and playing scrabble.  The sun even came out…

Wherever I’ve lived and wherever I’ve worked, I always seem to drive East towards the sunrise to get to work, and to drive West into the sunset to get home again.  And both were stunning and photograph-worthy today…
